FJ40 Digital Dashboard and Gauges
The N-Que FJ40 Digital Dashboard is the first of its kind in the Land Cruiser FJ40 community. The cluster is a snap-in replacement for the OEM FJ40 cluster and communicates seamlessly with all the analog sensors in the FJ40 regardless of engine or transmission swap. The custom cover for is available in three flavors:
ABS Plastic
Stainless Steel
Aluminum
The digital dashboard features a central 5” capacitive touchscreen with three different display modes:
Analog:
Digital:
Raw:
In addition to this there are four dedicated screen for Oil, Water, Fuel and Battery gauges just like the OEM FJ 40 cluster.
The dashboard is accompanied by an analog to digital sending unit that converts and transmits the following sensor data:
Speed – The unit connects to the transfer case via a supplied Toyota Hilux VSS Sensor (Model 83181-20040). Sensors for non-Toyota transmission can be supplied as required.
RPM – The sender unit connects to your bellhousing via a magnetic universal pickup sensor or to your alternator. The Sensor reading can be calibrated based on the frequency of pulses coming from the bellhousing or the alternator.
Fuel - All OEM and aftermarket resistance to ground sensors are supported. Calibration is required depending on your sensor resistance range.
Water Temperature – All OEM and aftermarket resistance to ground sensors are supported. Minimal calibration required.
Oil Pressure – OEM and aftermarket sensors supported.
GPS – The included GPS provides compass heading, speed, navigation position and temperature data.
OBD2 – Included in the FJ Digital dashboard is an OBD2 module and DB9 to OBD2 cable to connect most modern engines and pickup Speed, RPM, Engine Temperature and Odometer through a single connection.
Supported Digital Sensors:
- Left / Right Turn Signals
- Hi-Beams
- Brake Light
- 4X4 indicator (Where supported)
